Newcastle International College (NIC) is a registered Higher Education institution,located in New South Wales - Australia. NIC provides international students with a pathway to the University of Newcastle. The college was established in 2011 in association with the University and commenced delivery of its academic programs in February 2012.

NIC is located at the University of Newcastle’s main campus in Callaghan, and delivers the following academic programs to international students:
• Tertiary Preparation Program 
• Diploma of Business and Commerce
• Diploma of Engineering
• Diploma of Information Technology
• Diploma of Media and Communication

Successful completion of the NIC Tertiary Preparation Program will qualify students for direct entry to the first year of an undergraduate degree offered by the university. 

NIC’s Diploma programs deliver the equivalent content to the first year of a University of Newcastle bachelor degree. Students who successfully complete an NIC Diploma are guaranteed entry to the second year of the respective Bachelor degree at the University of Newcastle.
