Studies recognition (equivalence)
Aadmission requirements and procedure to study in Romania for students from an EU, EEA country and the Swiss Confederation: they have to have the diploma recognised (diplomas and certificates) by the National Centre for Recognition and Equivalence of Diplomas in Romania (CREDR). After receiving the attestation of recognition studies, then they have to submit it with all required documents for admission to the university of their choice.
Required documents for studies recognition:
- Application for recognition required for acceptance to studies;
- A certifiedcopy of secondary-school leaving certificate or another certificate proving that the applicant is entitled to embark upon studies at any type of university;
- A certified copy of Higher Education diploma and transcript for admission to Master or PhD studies;
- A copy of valid passport (pages 1, 2, 3, 4);
- Copy of the receipt for the recognition fee;
All mentioned above copies of documents must be in English, French or Romanian, otherwise, they must be accompanied by certified cpoies in one of those languages.
