The Global Online MBA has a number of specialisms allowing students to choose a pathway that suits their professional needs. The specialisms include finance, banking, marketing and sales, HRM, events, entrepreneurship and health management.
The degree is responsive to contemporary issues, taking account of current financial and economic conditions, providing its students an educational experience that will equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to operate effectively in today's challenging business environment.
All learning materials for the Global Online MBA are available in multiple formats. They can be used on a variety of devices including a laptop, tablet or mobile and can be downloaded ensuring that students are able to go through them at their own pace offline.
The Global Online MBA uses 'Moodle' as its virtual learning environment, a tool that offers students a flexible yet structured online learning experience. By using Moodle students benefit from a:
- Help Desk which allows for communications in each module
- 'My Groups' feature which allows students to set up self-help groups
- Virtual Office Hour which allows students to contact module leaders at a predetermined time every two weeks
- Study Schedule Guide that allows students to record target dates and track their progress

Exit points for the programme are flexible. If students are unable to complete the full MBA they can exit with either a postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma providing they have completed 3 x 20 credit modules or 6 x 20 credit modules respectively. The number of credits required for each exit point are as follows:
- A Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits)
- A Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits)
- The MBA (180 credits)
A comprehensive online induction programme will be given to all students once they have matriculated onto a module, which mirrors the one given to all full time face-to-face students, and which covers all aspects relating to online learning such as studying effectively online and accessing Our Partners Universities resources remotely.
Entry Requirements
Students studying the Our Partners Universities Online MBA come from a variety of backgrounds including science, technology and other non business related fields. The most important consideration for entry into the programme is a student's ability to study successfully.
There are a number of basic entry requirements. However, that applicants should meet which include both academic and English language.

Students with part-time work experience may be considered for entry to the Global Online MBA if their overall amount of working time gives them a sufficient level to merit consideration.
English Language Requirement
A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5)
References
An employer reference is required for all applicants to the programme. An academic reference is acceptable, however under normal circumstances this will only supplement the employer reference rather than replace the need for it.
Students will be given both formative feedback and summative assessments.
Formative feedback will be provided through the use of case studies and self-assessment questions.
Reflective Exercises, that are not evaluated, will also be given to students which will enable them to apply theory to their own practice. The aim of the Reflective Exercises is to support students' personal and professional development and these will be compiled into the students' Personal Portfolio.
Summative assessment will be provided as outlined below:
- End of Unit progress test: The aim of this is to test the students' knowledge and understanding of the key concepts within each unit. It will count as 10% of the final module mark.
- End of Module assessment: This will count as 90% of the final module mark.
