1. Overview of the institution
One of the founding members of the Group of Eight, University of New South Wales is known for its leading teaching and research. The university has some of the strongest industry links, and it receives grants not only from government but also through their links with industries.

The main campus is located in Kensington, Sydney. The other two large campuses are College of Fine Arts, that is located in the suburb of Paddington and University College at the ADFA is situated in Canberra.
